Blaze's fresh new look was launched into the equestrian clothing market in 2007. Its founder, Gary Yates, has a vast experience of the clothing trade, having been a major influence in the design and production of corporate clothing for many of the countries most well known brands. Gary already had connections with Lisa Richardson, one of the top designers in the equestrian market, and she took little persuading to join the team at Blaze! Alison Yates runs the office and communications side of the business, while Steve Lance heads our sales team.

So, Welcome to Blaze! Our versatile performance and sports collection for the forthcoming season draws on the experience of its designers to meet today's demands with modern, technical fabrics and designs that are stylish, hardwearing and practical, as well as maintaining great prices. The range for Spring 2008 includes some exciting new colours and styles – perfect for the new season. Although designed with the rider in mind, the features of the Blaze collection is ideal for all your outdoor needs.

As well as supplying a great range of clothing, Blaze is keen to invest in young riders to help them become the future stars of equestrian sport. The Blaze Academy was founded to provide 6 talented riders aged between 18 and 25 with a training bursary to help further their talents in Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing. The riders also have access to support on important issues that affect the modern rider such as handling sponsorship, media and publicity and advice on equine nutrition, as well as being fully kitted out with Blaze clothing.

The team of riders were chosen from hundreds of applications received, and underwent a rigorous selection process including an assessment by experts in their discipline, Tina Fletcher, Judy Harvey and Sam Jennings. The final six are worthy ambassadors for the Blaze brand, and we wish them every success in the forthcoming season!
